Abstract
The Intent of this paper Is to review presidential inaugural addresses and compare them to the realities of the Supreme Court decisions of the times. Some presidents seemed to have a line to the future with addresses that clearly articulated the concerns of the populace while others focused on global issues, ignoring chaotic domestic problems. While it is impossible to truly envision the future, some of the leadership in the United States has been more accurate in sensing the mood of the country against the backdrop of a changing global picture.
