Abstract
The good twentieth-century Marxist knows that nothing exists other than those things that have material form . This of course eliminates any idea of soul, and the ideal or highest good of life is to have the materials of life distributed equally to all in an effort to make everyone's journey back to the dust equally rewarding if not pleasant. Everything- -man included- -can be explained as physical bodies in motion, and the same laws of physics apply to all. Fear is defined as an incomplete knowledge of physical things , but it can be overcome by learning all about our physical being through such things as social science. After all- -man is a material object acting in relation to other material objects.
