Abstract
Describing the political theology of Latin America, Phillip E. Berryman in a recent article says "...it seeks to be more rooted in analysis of concrete situations and has become politicized in practice." Although he is commenting on a political theology written for a political situation different from ours in the United States, the theological ideal he reflects is one that has equally important application in a North American political theology.
