Abstract

The endocrine glands provide an alternative communications and regulatory system to the nervous system. The two systems either act separately or supplement each other. A physicomathematical model is designed for the release of cortisol (one of the gluco-corticoid release by adrenal gland) taking into consideration both endocrine and nervous system. Pituitary-adrenal system behaves according to the specifications of the negative feed back regulator.
