Creator's Notes: This is the most popular thing I have ever written! While I definitely intended for it to be read as a platonic friendship, my friend who beta read the piece for me said she would be happy to read a romance novel about these two characters. Sigh. It's really friggin' difficult to write friendship stories when practically any two people with a neat dynamic automatically become shipping targets! :P Can't a woman write about two people platonically talking in a chapel without having to belabor the non-romantic nature of the relationship every other paragraph? (No. The answer is no.)

Due to my own horrible facial recognition, I actually had to get my sister to confirm for me the provided image is actually the same person playing both roles. My interpretation of the image is it is playing with the idea of possibilities and identity, how would a person be different if one thing about them was changed?

My piece asks, what if the character persona of famous Minecraft YouTuber Ethoslab was a vampire hunter in another universe? Great effort was put into ensuring Etho's lines in the story all sounded like something he might say, while also trying to cram all of my worldbuilding into less than a thousand words. My hope is anyone who enjoys Etho's videos would recognize him in my piece, even through a different lens.
