Abstract
In attempting a research of this nature it is the author's intention to verify the experiments already performed by other workers in this particular field, and then prove to complete satisfaction that there can be devised for the identification of acid amides a method which will be as accurate and simple as the methods already devised for other organic compounds. The task of verifying the results of other workers was necessary in order that the particular reaction might be studied under conditions that are definite and known.
