The first Educational Television Station in Milwaukee. WMVS-TV (Channel 10), televised its first program for public viewing on Monday, October 28, 1957. Realizing its educational objectives and responsibilities to the community in the use of educational television, the Milwaukee Public Schools inaugurated its first television program on station WMVS-TV on October 31, 1957. The writer of this thesis was assigned the responsibility of planning, writing, arranging, and producing this series of programs. He was also authorized to select the theme and subjects as well as personnel for the series. The series was titled. "At Your Convenience," and was to be in the field of adult guidance in the use of leisure time.
