Abstract
Nacirema Academics have long been known to exemplify the Nacirema’s pronounced ritualism, first noted in Miner’s classic paper of 1956. This study demonstrates this point by means of a “constructive replication” of six Academic papers that appear to be science but are, rather, ritually authoritative inscriptions. The papers are I. C. MacMillan’s “Forums” on Academic publishing in the Academic Clans of Strategy and Entrepreneurship. Replications of these Forums rejects their delineation of the boundaries of the Strategy Clan, but does not reject that of the Entrepreneurship Clan. Much of this difference is artifactual.
