Abstract

This thesis has been written from the Creative Student's point of view; the student who not alone has a liking for the world of letters but at the same time is guided by the age-old wanting to express himself in that medium which is to him the Alpha and the Omega of all human expression. The serious student sees not alone the completed work but between the lines he can read the character of the author, determine the life he lead, tell of the things he dreamt and longed for, feel the people with whom the author cam in contact -- in short, he can recreate the world of the author and people it with the living, breathing people who were a part of that world.
