Abstract

This thesis is not intended to be an exhaustive ·report and analysis of the Theatre of Poland. It is intended to be a brief History of the Polish Theatre. In studying and discussing the dramatic art and accomplishments of Poland, we find an unusually difficult task, because there are very few writings presenting the history of the Polish Theatre. In the English language, there are not many notable works which would serve_ in the generation of a history. In the Polish language, the worthy material is inaccessible.
