Abstract

Our colleges have not yet placed platform art on the basis that it deserves. Too often it is regard d as an art with little or no practical value, and where only "talented" pupils specialize in the subject.

It is the hope of the writer that this thesis may be instrumental in correcting this misconception by showing that platform art is a vital part or education and worthy of study.
