Abstract
Our goal in the educational field today is a nation of independent thinkers, characterized by the qualities of initiative, self-reliance, and the marks of a good citizen--unselfish devotion and service toward group, class, city, and nation. In order to realize this goal, all the educational forces must unite in the recognition of instinctive capacities and potentialities and provide such situations as will modify and develop the same to the degree where all knowledge and skill may operate toward as complete a social adjustment as is humanly possible.
