Look you, the name, Paul Elmer More, has many meanings: humanism, Christinaity [sic], tradition, erudition, conservatism, and republicanism; however, all these terms combined portray only the front side of him. The back side of the self-portrait has painted in his essays will be exposed to view with another aeries of terms later on.
