Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to define the dividing line, as closely and as clearly as possible, between privileged publication and libel. The method of research is a review of the cases that have come up before the Wisconsin Supreme Court relative to this subject with supplementary notes and comments from class lectures and approved textbooks on the Law of Journalism.
