Abstract
Since The New York Times is universally acknowledged as having the most thorough coverage of foreign news among the daily papers of America, one inevitably takes it as a basis for comparisons and valuable information. This, coupled with the fact that the New York paper was examined first, resulted in the use of it as a gauge by which The Chicago Daily News and The Milwaukee Journal were judged.
