Abstract
Extra-curricular activities in the secondary school are those which are not provided for in the regular curriculum, but are an essential part in the regular program. The activities are the result of broadened aims in education within the last half century, and the realization of the fact that students are entitled to the development of spiritual, social and physical, as well as the intellectual side of their character.
