Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to describe the autonomic nervous system of the cat and pigeon and to compare them as to their structure. This comparison will consist in noting the differences and points of similarity between the two animals. The autonomic nervous system of the cat is more complex than that of the pigeon and for that reason the comparison will consist in pointing out the parts of the autonomic nervous system present in the cat, but which are not found in the pigeon. In noting the points of similarity only the most important will be treated.
