Abstract
The New York Stock Exchange has been subject to a great amount of criticism on the cart of politicans and a great part of the public due to the evils of gambling and speculation, that have been always exploited and also through the ignorance of many who do not know the great part the exchange has played in the development of the United States and its absolute necessity to the present economic structure of the World.
