Abstract
Banks have only recently cashed in on advertising. Large banks in all sections of the United States have been notably increasing both the frequency and size of their current advertisements for the comparatively brief period of the past ten years. Until the Great War was thrust upon our nation, advertising was looked upon by bankers, as well as other businessmen, as an expense, while at present, it is quite generally regarded in its proper light ... as an investment.
