Abstract
The purpose of this thesis was to get a better understanding and knowledge of weekly newspapers in the state of Wisconsin and to see the enterprises carried out for the community’s interests. The idea was to observe the various layouts, balance, typography, place of materials and to see which newspaper had the best appearing page and the finest types of editorials. Constructive criticism was to be given for the benefit of the newspaper and the writer.
