Abstract

This paper has been designed to meet the requirements of a bachelor's thesis. The main substance of the thesis is a reiteration of some of the work done by other men in the field of ovarian hormones with some original work on the part of the author. I have endeavored to prove that theelin controls, to some extent at least, the development of the genital tracts of female white rats. Especial care was taken to follow out in detail the methods used by Doisy and his associates in similar experiments so that I would have a criterion by which to gage my results.
