Abstract
Our present social needs demand much that is new; much that is different, much that calls for a change in attitudes and ideas. For as time goes on, we must all keep apace so as not to lag behind in method, thought, or action. Many of the subjects in our school curriculum have undergone vital changes in purpose, value, and method of presentation. Not least among these is reading.
