Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the importance of the human interest feature as a distinctive branch of feature writing and to study the various types and methods under this category. The method used was a daily appraisal of the local newspapers, a perusal of a certain collection of feature articles and an additional study of various texts on the subject.
