Abstract
Visual education, visual instruction, visual aids, visual-sensory aids, etc. are terms rather loosely employed· to label the use of illustrative material and devices in all forms of education. Visual education implies the complete educative process or a distinct subject or purpose classification. Visual aids and visual-sensory aids denote the physical materials and arrangements necessary for the "seeing" experience. Visual instruction emphasizes the value of concrete imagery in the learning process.
