Abstract
This thesis has been prepared in an endeavor to present the objectives of study, and to state effective methods for teaching study habits to children in the intermediate grades. A discussion of the universal need for direction in the formation of study habits, together with a consideration of the objectives of study compromises the first chapter. This is followed by a presentation of the physical conditions influencing study. The third chapter deals with general suggestions for training in study, while the fourth and fifth present type lessons and specific and tried methods.
