Abstract
In this thesis on Wordsworth's God in Nature, I have endeavored to show how the poet through communion with Nature in all its forms was brought into closer relation with the Supreme Being. I have not called him a Pantheist and do not think him such in the strict sense of the word. In my opinion he looked upon God as the beneficent Giver of all that is good in Nature. He believed that Nature was man's best teacher, and that through a knowledge of its ways man could not help but be brought to a fuller understanding of the Creator.
