Abstract
The aim in the writing of this thesis is to show the importance of the teaching of conservation in the elementary schools. This teaching is not to be a mere side issue, but in the subject of Citizenship, standing equal in importance with history, manners and morals, safety cautions, civics and civic information and thrift instructions.
