Abstract

Basketball has grown rapidly and has changed somewhat from the game as invented b Dr. Naismith in the year 1892 at the Springfield Y. M. C. A. Training School. This competitive sport, which occupies a place in the life of every youth, is receiving the attention of modern educators as being of importance in the general plan of education.
