Abstract
The task of developing a course of study in primary science which would fit the particular needs of the Shorewood public schools was begun in the fall of 1933. A representative committee of primary teachers was formed and called the Primary Science Committee. This committee worked in conjunction with the Curriculum Coordinator, Miss Marjorie Pratt, and was assisted by all of the primary and kindergarten teachers in the Shorewood system.
