Abstract
It is the purpose of this thesis to furnish a study of how one newspaper, The Chicago Daily News, handled editorially and in its news columns the foreign news pertaining to international relations during 1936. Both minor and major events will enter the scope of study although stress will be laid on the outstanding news stories.
