Abstract
In this thesis the author has endeavored to gather together the influencing factors in the growth and development of Parliament. Some of the more important factors have been discussed at length and conclusions arrived at in regard to their relative importance.
There are undoubtedly, many more factors which might be regarded as contributing toward the development of Parliament. However, the contributing factors discussed have been agreed upon by historians as important in parliamentary development.
