Abstract

Opportunities in the field of rural journalism are fre­quently overlooked. Schools and colleges of journalism are turning out annually, thousands of young men and women, who have been fitted for reporting and editing as well as other forms of writing. Many of these obviously do not intend to be merely reporters all of their lives. Again, there are scores in the ranks of city newspaper work, who are tired of the grind, and nerve wracking rush.
