Abstract

The survey of hospital and clinic facilities in Milwaukee County with respect to their adequacy and flexibility was assigned to the author as the subject for a thesis by the Department of Sociology, Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The gathering of the information required in this connection, necessitated many calls, both personal and by telephone, as well as many references to books, journals, reports and other written papers on the subject.
