Abstract

This thesis presents the development of the equations for the ballistic galvanometer. The subject was chosen because of its fascinating interest and because of the breadth of material included. The working out of the general equation required a comprehensive review of fundamentals in electricity and mechanics, swell as mathematics. The following features may be noted.
