Abstract
What can be done to help pupils· in junior high schools appreciate the literature they read?
There is the constant problem before the teacher: to turn the reading-interest and reading-desire of the child from channels of mediocrity and insipid feeding to a desire for the finer things that broaden the outlook and enrich the soul.
