Abstract
The author has tried his best, in this thesis, to review, to dissect, and to make a comprehensive study of the muscles of the lower limb of the cat. With this end in view, he has taken the natural advantages present, such as text books, outlines, and charts as means of attaining it.
The anatomy of the cat’s muscles laid bare in dissection would be incomplete and inadequate without the aid of photographs and illustrations. So with the help of Charles Wilbur, B.S., a fellow student, the author succeeded in making some excellent views of the muscles of the lower limb. These photographs have been obtained from actual dissections, and the muscles placed in a view which would be of greater benefit to the reader.
