Abstract
This thesis will outline the progress of the Milwaukee edition of the Chicago Tribune from the time it started in September, 1929, to the present writing. Because the ’’long distance” newspaper is a new venture in American journalism, the story presented herewith will consider the idea from its conception, all through the various stages of development, down to the present status of the organization.
