Abstract
The field of Physical Education is virtually a new field of endeavor. It has been coming into its rightful position in the field of Education so rapidly that our institutions of learning are wantonly neglectful of its importance.
The Board of Education of the State of Wisconsin requires that all High Schools shall have a Physical Education program. As a rule all High Schools fulfill this requirement. But as there are no specifications enforced, as to how the Physical Education program should be carried on, each school organizes its program according to its own tastes.
This survey clearly indicates the existing conditions in the field of High School Physical Education.
