Abstract
Buckminsterfullerene, C60, reacts with Pd-(PPh3)4 in solution to give in high yield a palladium(0) complex, (C60)Pd(PPh3)2, in which fullerene is ligated in a η2 fashion. The molecular structure of this compound has been established by the X-ray study of a single crystal.
