Abstract
Using data from the last ten years of Marquette Basketball, this study analyzes the effect various external factors have on tickets sales for Marquette Basketball home games. This quantitative study examines the correlation between game attractiveness variables (independent variables) and their relation to tickets out, the dependent variable. With operating expenses and budgets continuing to rise, and revenue streams becoming increasingly important, this study will help marketing administrators gain a better understanding of the predicting factors that drive fans to purchase tickets and attend home contests.
