Abstract
At the present time there are different ways to transfer energy. But the most efficient and economical means should be looked for. The microwave rotary machines are designed and developed with the idea of transferring energy more efficiently. To design a microwave reluctance motor the properties of the ferrite materials have to be studied in detail. Therefore, the characteristics of a ferrite filled waveguide for zero d.c. magnetic bias and for various d.c. magnetic biases along the two directions transverse to the direction of propagation were studied. During this research work, a new power control device was developed.
