Abstract
My original intention was to engage the disciplines of psychology and theology in a meaningful dialogue and work out a framework for a theology of Integrity. In fact, the original dissertation proposal was entitled, "A Theology of Integrity: Lonergan's Notion of Self-Transcendence and Kegan's Theory of Meaning-Making in Dialogue." As I was writing the dissertation, I realized that my original title would not be appropriate. When I completed the work, I had to change the title to, "A Framework for Christian Anthropology: A Study of Lonergan's Self-Transcending Subject and Kegan's Evolving Self."
