Abstract
The primary goal of this dissertation is to produce a usable, accurately transcribed and annotated edition of Lyman Beecher's Theological Lecture Notes. Volume I. This almost illegible text, buried in the Lane Seminary Collection of the Jesuit-Krauss-McCormick Library in Chicago, Illinois, has been unavailable to historians and theologians until now.
