Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify the parental behaviors and stressors of parents who have young children between ages one to four years, eleven months and who were identified as being in either a dual career or single career family. Inclusive within the identification of those behaviors and stressors also was the investigation of the parents perception of their child's behavior problems. Through the integration of the following three factors: parent behaviors, parental stress, and perception of child behavior problems, an integrated view of family functioning within the dual career and single career family was assessed.
