Abstract
Since the beginning of the industrial revolution in the middle of the eighteenth century, the advent and development of various kinds of mechanical devices operated by using fossil fuels has made human life more convenient and comfortable. The corresponding industrial productivity has tremendously increased; motivating people to continuously invent and develop devices that are directly related to the quality of people's personal lives. Steam power plants and engines using fossil fuels contributed significantly to industries and our human life, resulting in transportation devices such as steam-powered trains and vehicles.
