Abstract
The immediate purpose of this work is to show how a doctrine o! possibility functions as a basis of solving certain basic metaphysical and epistemological problems in the philosophy of Leibniz. The immediate purpose has itself had a further purpose, namely, to achieve some understanding of the foundations of Leibniz's metaphysics.
