Abstract
Vulnerable populations are at increased risk predisposing them to adverse health events. Delivering quality health care within this population is a multi-faceted and complex endeavor that involves efforts by the provider, the nurse, and the patient. Exploring areas in which these efforts cross paths may result in further understanding of how to better improve health status.
