Abstract
The studies reported in this dissertation are concerned with the in vivo effects of thyroxine or triiodothyroacetic acid therapy in neonatally thyroidectomized and adult thyroidectomized rats. In vitro studies of various analogs of thyroxine were also investigated using adult rat liver mitochondria.
