Abstract
The major purpose of this study was twofold: first, to establish the predictive validity of a set of selection measures with respect to on-the-job performance as a police patrolman; second, to investigate the utility of factor analysis and canonical correlation as an alternate to correlation and regression analysis in establishing predictive validity.
