Abstract
This study was concerned with the measurement of supervisory attitudes toward people and with the effect of these attitudes on subordinate motivation, productivity and job satisfaction. The subjects were first-line supervisors and their subordinates.
The study also involved the administration of an attitude survey questionnaire to all employees below the level of Vice President at First Wisconsin National Bank of Milwaukee. Tabulation of all data was done through the Computer Center at the bank.
